Project challenges
Cooperl is a French agri-food cooperative founded and managed by farmers. Established in 1966 by 24 pig farmers from the Lamballe region in Brittany, the cooperative is organized by sector, primarily around pork production. Cooperl’s CSR approach, called “Solutions 2030,” focuses on four pillars: territories, people, the planet, and animals. To strengthen initiatives under the “People” pillar, the Human Resources department launched a co-construction program for the HR & CSR roadmap with volunteer employees. Nearly 300 employees from various sites across France, representing diverse roles and hierarchical levels, were trained to form working groups capable of developing and refining actionable proposals.

- Supported the project team and communications department in launching the recruitment campaign for volunteer employees—dubbed the “Builders of HR 2030 Solutions”—to present the program and inspire engagement.
- Designed and facilitated training for 31 HR & CSR coordinators responsible for leading the working groups throughout 2023. The training focused on strengthening their general CSR knowledge and enhancing their facilitation skills for year-long group engagement.
- Designed and delivered training for the 282 builders, equipping them with a solid understanding of planetary boundaries, the systemic nature of CSR, and the social dimension of CSR.
- Adapted training methods to accommodate the diversity of participant profiles by using active learning techniques, ensuring comprehension of key concepts, and motivating participants with practical tools for action.
- All training sessions were conducted in person, over a single day.
